Come tutte le ragazze che si interessano di make up, anche io sono alla costante ricerca del fondotinta perfetto. Il primo problema che incontro, che è anche il più difficile da superare, è quello della scelta della tinta giusta. Vedete, io sono di pallore estremo, di un bianco cadaverico che potrebbe fare concorrenza a Morticia Addams. Se fossimo nel diciannovesimo secolo, forse sarei considerata una gran bellezza. Ma al giorno d'oggi chi ha l'incarnato di porcellana fa fatica a trovare un fondotinta adatto. Credo di aver testato ogni singolo fondotinta che vendono da Acqua&Sapone, ma non ne ho mai trovato uno che non mi facessere sembrare come se fossi appena uscita da "Jersey Shore".
Allora ho pensato che fosse un problema di marche, che forse quelle più costose avrebbero avuto una più ampia selezione per quanto riguarda il colore. Devo dire che qui non sono stata completamente delusa. Ho trovato un prodotto Clinique (di cui parlerò in seguito) che mi piaceva molto, però era comunque leggermente più scuro del mio colore naturale.
Ho continuato ad usare questo fondotinta per un paio di anni e questo è un record, dato che non sono esattamente una campionessa di fedeltà cosmetica. Alla fine la curiosità ha avuto la meglio e ho iniziato a provare nuovi fondotinta nella speranza di trovare quello giusto per me.
Al momento ne sto usando due, uno liquido di Kiko ed uno minerale di NeveMakeUp.
Inutile dirlo, sto ancora cercando quello perfetto :)
Just like every girl who is into make up, I am costantly looking for the perfect foundation too. The first obstacole for me is choosing the right shade. You see, I am extremely pale, basically as ghostly white as Morticia Addams. If I was born in the 19th century, perhaps I would be considered beautiful. But today those who have got a porcelain complexion struggle to find a foundation that's right for them. I think I tested every single drugstore foundation available, but I've never found one that didn't make me look like I just came out of "Jersey Shore".
So I thought I should check out higher end brands, maybe they had a better shade selection. I must say I wasn't totally disappointed. I found a Clinique product (I'll talk about it in another post) that I really liked, though it still wasn't a perfect match with my skintone.
I used this foundation for a couple of years and let me tell you that that's my personal record, since I'm known for not being loyal at all with products. Eventually I got bored and started trying different products, hoping to find the perfect one for me.
Currently I'm using two different foundations, a liquid one by Kiko and a mineral powder one by NeveMakeUp.
Needless to say, I'm still looking for the one :)

Benvenuti! - Welcome!
Buongiorno a tutti e benvenuti sul mio blog!
Prima di tutto mi presento, mi chiamo Martina e sono una studentessa universitaria di 22 anni. Mi piacciono molto i blog di make up, cura della persona e moda e, quindi, ho pensato che poteva essere divertente cominciare a scriverne uno. Di solito di queste cose si parla tra amiche ed è proprio questo che vorrei ottenere tramite il blog, uno spazio di discussione tra amiche.
L'idea di scrivere sia in italiano sia in inglese mi è venuta da un blog che ho recentemente scoperto, che è Make up Deer. Ho trovato che fosse un'ottima soluzione perchè mi piacerebbe che il blog fosse accessibile un po' a tutti e non esclusivamente a chi parla italiano.

Usually I chat about this topics with my friends and that's exactly what I'd like this blog to be, a space where we can talk and chit-chat like friends.
I got the idea to write in both Italian and English by a blog that I recently discovered, which is Make up Deer. I thought it was great because I'd like this blog to be read by everyone who's interested and not just by people who can speak Italian.
